Happy Friday, loves! I’m so excited for this Labor Day Weekend! I just love this time of year with kids going back to school and fall approaching, and really just getting into the swing of things again. But with that, it means that this weekend is kind of like a last “hurrah” to summer. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t know any better way to celebrate this than with an ice cream cone from my favorite place in Detroit–Treat Dreams!
If y’all don’t know what that is, you’re about to know, because you’ve been missing out all summer with the crazy heat we’ve had! It’s been the perfect cool-down spot for me and the way I’ve been “treating myself”, because I absolutely LOVE ice cream! And theirs is seriously on a whole new level of yummy-ness. I have no doubt you’ll agree with me after trying it out.
Not only are their flavors out of this world, but they make their own waffle cones daily! And, I’m a sucker for waffle cones. If you are too, make sure to get there early enough, because if they run out, you’ll have to settle for a sugar cone. Don’t get me wrong, sugar cones are good, but they’re nothing like their homemade waffle cones hot off the press!
A couple of my favorite flavors are Dark Sea Chocolate and Salted Caramel. Dark Sea Chocolate consists of dark chocolate ice cream with sea salt, chocolate chips, peanut butter, and chocolate swirls. It’s literally a party in your mouth of all the tasties swirled into one incredible flavor…it seriously doesn’t get much better than that! And Salted Caramel speaks for itself–it’s simple, yet full of flavor with amazing creaminess. You’re taste buds are sure to enjoy!
Anyway, enough of what I like there. Now, it’s time for you to check it out for yourself and figure out what flavors are your favorite! Be sure to visit multiple times, as they come out with new flavors regularly. Check out their Facebook page here for an updated menu!
Thanks so much for reading! Happy “Ice Creaming”, and have a fabulous Labor Day, my friends!
