Happy Saturday, my friends!  On this cold December day, I thought I’d share some of my favorite wardrobe staples to get me through the winter.  I don’t know about you ladies, but sweaters are one of my favorite things about the cold weather!  They’re so comfy and cozy, and they go with just about everything.  I love how I don’t have to think about it–I just throw one on and go!  And, for an indecisive girl, that’s a pretty big deal.

Now, I get a lot of questions on where I get my clothes from, and my go-to store for sweaters (and pretty much everything else in my wardrobe) is definitely Express.  However, I absolutely love T.J.Maxx and find tons of incredible deals there.  This entire outfit is actually from those two stores combined.  My cowl neck sweater, along with my jeans, are from Express, and my Lucky Brand booties are from T.J.Maxx.  Now, I’m sure some of you cringed at the words, “cowl neck”, and may have thought of the turtle necks your moms used to wear back in the day.  But, let me put your mind at ease–it’s not a turtle neck–it’s an ultra comfy, and typically over-sized, sweater.  I promise you, once you try one on, you’ll be hooked!

As for jeans, I’m obsessed with anything mid-rise or high-rise!  They’re so comfy and hug your body perfectly.  Any shape or size can wear them!  This pair, along with most of my jeans, are from Express.  These are their mid-rise ankle jean leggings.  I love how the tear in the knee is subtle, especially for winter.  Now, onto my booties!  These are definitely a staple in my wardrobe (really all year-round, not just winter).  I like to have a black pair, because black goes with everything, and then also a neutral color.  TJMaxx is definitely the place to go for a great deal on booties and pretty much any other cute shoes you’d like to add to your wardrobe!
