26. It’s just a number with an extra year of experience than 25. But, wow! I’m amazed that I’ve been blessed with this much life so far! I’m beyond grateful that God has given me another day to impact lives and to make a difference here on Earth, and I can’t wait to see what He has in store for me this year.
My journey so far has been a crazy, adventurous, spontaneous, and wild ride so far! But, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Sometimes I wonder what in the world is actually going on in life, and I have to remind myself that while I may try to plan it all out, God knows best. So, I need to continually seek Him and be open to what He has in store for me.
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'” -Jeremiah 29:11
As I reflect back on my 25 years of life so far, I’m overwhelmed with all the love and support of my dear family and friends. I’m so grateful to have loving and caring parents, who have always been there for me, and a younger brother who I wouldn’t trade for the world! In addition, some of my closest friends have become my family, and I’m forever thankful for them.
As I think about this new year of life, and all I want to accomplish, I like to look at it as a clean slate–a fresh start. This year will be the start of new beginnings, and a year where I plan to impact more lives than the year before. I’m excited to take some risks, to grow and stretch myself further than before, and to ultimately take a leap of faith. I believe in order to be all we’re created to be, we have to endure some trials and step out of our comfort zone. After all, nothing good happens until you choose to get out of the familiar, the mundane, routine of everyday life. So, I’m excited to see where that takes me! And if you’re wondering what all that entails, just continue to follow my journey, and you’ll see! I hope you’re inspired by it, and that you realize that you are MORE than enough–you are worthy of a beautiful, joy-filled life! And, while I can’t promise it’ll be easy, it’s worth it–YOU are worth it! So, my friends, know that you are beautiful, you are worthy, and you are loved beyond your wildest dreams. Go out and shine bright for all the world to see!
